Torno, Lake Como

Torno is a gem of a town - small, very narrow streets, no tourists to speak of, and a beautiful little square, Plazza Casartelli, right on the water bordered by the church, cafe, restorante, and ferry dock. Our apartment was just a minute from this piazza and just a few minutes climb to the Alimentari, the local grocery store, and the Latteria, with cheeses and bread for our hiking staples.
